Minnesota!

It should be something everyone knows the size of. Maybe a bottle of Mikes Hard lemonade and a case of Mikes in cans.

After thought: Maybe a number 4 jump trap on a chain connected to a drag.

I was wondering if she has ear mites. I am just guessing. I would check all the birds for mites, get some DE into the run or coop and naturally move the one to the garage or basement.
I use DE from the start, I put it in coop and in their dirt bath. but i will ck other birds tomorrow when its light outside.

the coyotes are loud tonight. I really don't like that sound. Here are the only pics I have gotten thus far. The first one isn't clear enough to consider it the wolf shot needed for the DNR to set up traps. But he thinks it is an adolescent. Here is the best shot I got of a coyote running through the yard. Had something take a chunk out of a goose through the fence but nothing on the camera. Weird. Many nights we have prints and nothing on the game cameras. Still hoping to get the money shot of the wolf for the DNR. I am free to trap the coyotes. Anyone with tips on that? @Cyrus83 and @gofeedthegirls you hunt coyotes what should I be doing?
There are really two methods to harvest a coyote. Either passive or proactive. Passive would involve trapping them and letting the traps do the work "hopefully." I found with trapping tge odds of one trap getting a coyote is next to nothing. You need dozens of traps set at a time and is really labor intensive, also time consuming(legally and morally you should check your traps every other day.) Also with trapping you have to worry about neighbor dogs, foxes, racoons, SKUNKS!, wolves(which would be baaaaad.) This is my second year I dont plan on my trap line being set up and I dont miss it one bit. I had 20-40 snares set at one time, along with 16 foot hold traps. All of which needed to be checked and reset all the time. So long story short. I now only actively hunt them with a rifle. If you wanted to go that route I suggest a smaller caliber rifle...223, 22-250, even a .243 if you dont want to save the pelt. Go out and buy a electronic caller and give it a whirl and hopefully if everthing works out you will get that coyote or two.

Ok Ralphie I put your 5 gallon pail in the shot of the game cameras. I did pick up a couple of foot snares but they look small and I don't know how to weigh them down or stake them and of course DH thinks I will catch the cats so I am supposed to find a way to lock up 3 barn cats every night. Yeah right. I also have some snares but they are for trails and I only have open spaces. Not sure how to use those yet.
