That's nothing to be afraid to ask! I am just getting to the point where I am decently 'ahead' with my egg selling income when I compare it to feed costs but then again I have infrastructure to pay off after that do big picture I'm probably still in the red, but ask me if that bothers me :). As more and more pullets start laying here things are getting better and better.

I enjoy it and they are paying for their own food! But that is just a bonus. I would keep the girls around even if they weren't

Next year I am going to explore selling a few broilers too

My thermometer is lying to me this morning. 28 degrees. No way it is that cold today,

I am feeling sorry for a couple of my creamettes. They were inside the CX's brooder/tractor last night and did not want to come out. So I locked them in there, they were forced to sit on the ground all night and not roost in this cold.

I have decided to spend the day here and head to Togo tomorrow.

I had one turkey that refused to come off the peak of the coop last night. I hope he froze his snood! Little *******.

Coffee tastes better on these cold mornings. I may need 6-8 cups today.

Everyone have a good day. I have to look harder at Scandiafowls questions, they look hard and tricky to me.

Since it's the middle of the night and I'm awake I thought a Minnesota BYC ice breaker is in order. Putting a person behind the avatar?
