Well, didn't get much done today outside. Had the confirmation of one of my Goddaughters, then CCC (coffee, cake, and conversation). Good times. Need to take a break every once in awhile I guess!

@lalaland Well, the Molly's herbal wormer you recommended may be working. I didn't know if they were getting enough yesterday as they didn't seem to eat much, but they ate more today of the mash I put it in. maybe it just takes time for them to get used to it? I think it may be working as Mother had food in her crop today, and was out eating while free ranging. She has had an empty crop at night for a couple of weeks now, so I think this is a very good sign. Her molt is still going on. She has a bare butt now

I would have been home yesterday, but they lowered the speed limit in downtown Togo from 50 to 40. It took me an extra 12 hours to get through town. I needed to find a room for last night.

I will read things tomorrow, I am too tired tonight.

ugh... what a day. I spent most of it plopped in front of my stupid work computer cleaning up the mess from digital **it hitting the fan last night. This working nights and weekends (on top of my regular 9 hour days) is starting to be draining. I had a nice list of things to do that i didnt even get to look at....

Hopefully i will get a day this week i can split from the office while the sun is still up and get caught up.

My day was instantly better when i went out for lockup and one of my coops of hens were all roosted and just purring away! i just had to stand and listen. i have heard them make the sounds before and heard you guys talk about it, but ive never heard a choir of purring hens quite like that! im almost tempted to go back out there for an encore

Definitly! Im always looking for people to ride with. My main riding partner sold his bike and had a baby this year,and the other works nights so we can only go on odd weekends. There are so many good roads between us and to the east in the river valley. you can never go wrong with getting on the border line and following that.
