Minnesota!

I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung, want to pull up tough
'Cause you notice that butt was stuffed
Deep in the jeans she's wearing
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I want to get wit'cha
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But with that butt you got makes (Me so horny)
Ooh, Rump-o'-smooth-skin
You say you want to get in my Benz?
Well, use me, use me
'Cause you ain't that average groupie
I've seen her dancin'
To hell with romancin'
She's sweat, wet,
Got it goin' like a turbo 'Vette
I'm tired of magazines
Sayin' flat butts are the thing
Take the average black man and ask him that
She gotta pack much back
So, fellas (Yeah) Fellas (Yeah)
Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah)
Tell 'em to shake it (Shake it) Shake it (Shake it)
Shake that healthy butt
Baby got back (L.A. fits with the Oakland booty

Here is a little paint drawing of how it is set up. I ran a length of 2x4s down the side of each shed screwing it to each stud. It was positioned so I could just squeeze a 2x4 standing the tall way between it and the eve. There is a end wall on both ends with a door on one end.

Unfortunately, I think this means there would be no way to make a slant for snow to run off. It would only leave me the option to use a roof rake to scrape it off when it got deep.

the peaks of the sheds run east/west so maybe it would stay blown off pretty well since most of the wind runs from west to east there. I didn't have much for snow accumulation on those roofs last year.
First thing that came to mind, you are going to get snow on that thing when the NW or N wind blows and it goes over the first roof and swirls on top of that mid section. That was the problem I had with my big windows getting snow in them, it didn't happen when it blew from the South, it was when it blew over the roof and came swirling down into them. And it isn't so much that a tarp isn't tough, it is the grommets that pull out and then all you have is a tear. If you have wire over it already, all the little bends and sharp pieces of wire will cause tearing too. I am a tarp conessiuer. Ask my husband.
You could make one end higher using the roofs of each building and create a slant.
You could run 2X4s so they are every 2-feet and then cover with metal roofing.

Ideally you would want a way to slant it so it will run off though, and not to the end where your door is. Just a little lesson I learned with little coops with the rain running off right over the door

If I wanted to collect ten eggs to hatch, where is the best place to store eggs while waiting for more to be laid?
I keep mine in the garage that is not heated. Once it gets too cold there in winter, I have them in the pass through, which is heated, but still relatively cool. Keep them in a cool and not too dry place and they will be fine.
NOT THE FRIDGE!!!

Ohh u just made me cry,, thank you for reminding me he might need his mom because he could be missing his Dad.. And I really don't mind them moving back in, I've missed them and yes it's been a little lonely that's why I've been keeping myself so busy.. :)

The companionship is important:)

I moved in with my parents last year to support them, but the best part is my dad and daughter. She can get anything she wants from him :)

Run is 'Saran wrapped' for the winter. And I have the north and west walls of my coop interior layered with Reflectix. It's wonderfully easy to work with. Will dabble with it some more this week. Also got my straw bales up and around the base of the coop, plastic on top of them so I can re use if they're still in good condition. And fresh sand, DE for the dusting tub in the run. I need wood ashes for it yet, though too.
I also made a chicken swing Saturday. No takers yet. They're too busy ranging through the leaves in the woods. They love that I rearranged the bales in the run though. Rifling through those for seeds.

My stored grass cuttings are getting thrown out I've decided. Moldy. Ish. We'll wing it with spinach and kale bags as we've always done and maybe I can find an alfalfa bale to flake off once in a while.

Nice winter set up!
I'm having a problem myself collecting leaves, they don't get dry before it rains again, so I can't pick them up. Don't want moldy leaves. Hubby is going to mow it all up before I can get Any bagged :(

Congrats Nordic, destiny and Minnie on chicks here or coming. I sense dusty bathrooms in your future. Lol. ;) well I guess you have the brooder house Minnie. That's right. Destiny that looks like more than 9 silkies and more than 9 bantam faverolles....chicken math. Lol. It's an inexact measurement for certain.

Here are a few picks from my bits of labor of love this weekend.
