Interesting morning - went out to turn the light on in the coop and heard rattling by the fence. It was in the dark so couldn't see..
Thinking to myself "****, that fox is back".
More rattling, like a creature trying to get out, foolish me moving closer... Creature moving towards the gate...

Waterfowl on the other hand need to sunlight to whiten up. Some breeds need that to help with the yellow in legs. Those are beautiful birds.

However, your statement of "everyone knows" is not proof tp me. I am not going to beat the dead horse. I am going to remain a tad stubborn and until I see a srtudy conducted in a scientific manner. (blind study with controls) I am not going to accept that as fact. I have read way too many "facts" on BYC that are pure bull.

I am fairly sure bright sun would affect the color, Heck, it affects my color. The corn I am not prepared to accept on faith. But then you have no worries from me because I will not be showing any birds...

BTW I am not saying it does not affect color, I am just not accepting it as a fact. It might or might not.

I am on the edge of my chair in suspense!!! Tell us, Tell us!

BTW my morning stinks too. I went to my redneck single cup coffee maker, grabbed for one of my special Organic Peruvian Coffee packets, and the drawer was emptied! I have none! I thought I had another case, I do not! I have not been able to get it online as Amazon does not have any right now!

So for today this poor redneck is forced to drink a bitter French roast Arabic coffee that is making me grouchy! I need my coffee!! This crap is barely coffee.

I peeled open a new can of Maryland Club Folgers mmmmmm so much better when it's fresh!
