Minnesota!

I haven't seen the comment, can't find it on my phone, I'll look later from my puter. But I've seen some stuff on here, I'm sure your fine coffee.

Also, Glad you found the news paper thing and that or works for you. Everyone has to find what works for them. My compost pile is not near big enough for news paper as well though.:/

I had a bad experience with that person earlier this year... I'll go into more detail when I'm on my laptop and not my kindle so I have an actual keyboard to type it all out. Anyway, FWIW, I don't think your comment warrents getting kicked off!

looked at that individuals usual posts and am not surprised! Am all for grace and respect, but sometimes we run into folks ... A direct response could be good.

guess what I found when I went to the feed store yesterday?

A fifty pound net bag of apples! 11 bucks. I asksed where they came from but the guy said he didn't know (yeah, right, he owns the mill). I'm wondering if they were the apple festival leftovers. Beautiful apples, an occasional bruise, but wow.

so now if baby doesn't come today, I'll try to get a crockpot going for more apple butter. And cut some up to freeze for apple pies or apple crisp. ALready gave some to the chickens and cut up some small ones for the quails.

and coffee, you might get a warning for the name calling even if it was in #$^ language. But your overall comment wasn't bad. depends on whether someone flagged you or whether a mod caught it. SO many posts all the time.

And whats up with it being in chinese at night? subtle hint to go to bed?

Coffee you weren't bad don't worry about it

Ok, just read it. I don't think it was that bad. I think your fine. Some people though huh? I don't think that the person realized they got way more snow than they ever expect in the NE last year, they had piles of it up until July. It would be hard to deal with no matter your coup design.

Coffee you have nothing to worry about.

There are a few things you should know.
It is possible I might have over stated my double secret probation. I maybe even exaggerated a tad. I know it is hard to believe I would ever do that.

My first double secret probation occurred before BYC installed their ********** censor system. My words went right up there for everyone to see.

My second probation came for a reason I am still trying to understand. It is best to just say "gee whiz, golly gee" I was wrong and will try to be better.

If I get the gist of it I told someone they were wrong or I disagreed with them. I was told by m BYC probation officer I could not tell anyone they were wrong. I had to hedge and say things like, You could be right but I think..... ( I have some problems with this, another hard to believe thing) Obviously the BYC Probation department does not know I am never wrong.

Actually I have had no problems since the second offence. Either I have reformed and became completely PC or Avoiding the ******** on here has allowed me to slip under the radar.

There was a good thing that came from my "disagreement" with another BYC person, (WHO I have blocked so I cannot see the stupid wrong things he says) The two widely accepted chicken breeds "Toads and Frogs" came from it.

He told me I could not call a cross of two CXs a CX. I understand the basic genetics and understand there are some recessive genes that could present themselves in those type of crosses. But come on, I can't call them CX's?? They have two parents that are CX's. what else would I call them a Dominique cross? Anyhow that is when I coined frogs ( CX/CX) and toads (CX/something else).

I have found the best way to survive on BYC is to just go to threads were people are nice, friendly and understand we will all have some disagreement, but we respect and enjoy each others company. I now only go to a couple threads it is the best way.

Now to prove I am correct, had the USA implemented my suggestion of a year ago and dropped the 200 miles closest to the ocean into the ocean you would not have had any problems Coffee! Of course I assume some would not think that is a practical solution, but I am a big thinker and maybe if we work at it we can make it practical.

Also if you write a post they may change or delete, try to keep your non-controversial items in separate posts.

Editted to add a forgotten probation. I used %$&#%$@ to "fake" a swear word and was given probation for that too. It is against policy to fake swear.

REALLY? WOW..

I have a real question about chickens.

Do they go on hunger strikes? I moved my oldest remaining hen I got from Heidi into the Creamette coop and run. She does not like being there. Yesterday, as I was adding a feeding water area to there coop, I had to open the chicken door between the two areas, Then I reached for a tool and the little buggar escaped! She even looked back at me as she ran to the coop she wanted to be in and raised her wing as if to give me the finger.

I went and got her last night and carried her back to the Creamette coop. I noticed her crop was empty, I always check the crop when I hold a bird,. I also though she felt light and thin, She did not have much meat on her, but I am use to holding my CX's and it could be just the difference between a small bird and a large bird. I seldom hold my layers and they are not lap birds. I do hold the Sussex's I got from Aussiegal as they seem to want to be held, but they have a body type different from a creamette. Anyways just wondering if she is ok?

I found a chicken Sitter, Justin, the neighbor kid that helped on Camp Day. is going to watch them. They are getting 4-5 chicks next spring. I am going to talk them into the Sussex's if I can, they are so friendly. BTW I got the first egg yesterday from them.
