Minnesota!

Its official I need some Blue laced red wyandottes this spring. Anyone know where I can get some hatching eggs from good quality birds???

Large fowl or bantam?
If you want large fowl, I know Jerry Foley has the best ones you can find right now, but they are pricey. Everyone selling them says theirs are Foley line, but be prepared that they are not.
If you want bantams, I might know someone in Texas with them.

You can find them for sale on here (chicks and hatching eggs), but I would ask to see picture of the actual birds being used as breeding stock so you know what you are getting. The lacing can be all over the place on them. Look for ones that have nice dark red too, not orange.

This is for Lala, she asked for a video of the guineas on the roof of the house..

Turn up the volume for full viewing pleasure.

Large fowl. Do you know of anyone in MN. I am trying to pick between them silkies or some big dark cornish. I wanted silkies for broodies but they cant cover as many eggs as my cochins. And wanted the cornish to add a little size to my birds.

If you want to breed in some size, I know where you can get some BOBs...

BOB= brothers of Bert Jr.

Some one the other day was talking about grafting some chicks on a broody? how did that go?

Here is the BA that I grafted the guineas onto in July....

This was taken this morning, she refuses to give up on her gangster kids!

I have never sucessfuly grafted chicks to broodys. One time I had chicks go missing from the brooder and thought something was killing them. But then I found them with a broody BA that had hatched chicks a week before and wasnt happy with just five. Nope she was going to steal ally chicks from the brooder. But how she got them will be a forever mystery!!

Is that your hut for your CXs in the background? I have been meaning to ask you about it and keep forgetting. When you raised CX and you put them into the tractors at night, how did you handle the poo? did the poo build up at night? I am under the assumption your hut didn't move daily, did it?
