Minnesota!

Awesome work, Klop klop! Those kids will love those.
I really like Lala's idea. My daughter loved pretty boxes.

or boxes to keep their treasures in.  A beautiful (seems like everything klopkop makes is beautiful)  small box .

So, what did you do for the girls?  If you don't have anything yet, you could  make wooden letters to spell each of their names and paint them in their favorite colors.

You know, I have been struggling on what to make them those year and I appreciate the ideas. A small jewelry box would be a great as they usually get some kind of jewelry for Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration guys!!!

Sorry about Sweetie, Mini. Sounds like she had some memories and real meaning.
She was a neat bird, not that I would say a pet, but she was a mystery chick in a batch from Sand Hill. I forget what she was supposed to be, but she obviously had some Game in her. She laid well, and went broody in late Summer, was gentle about it too. Hilarious to see molt because she would blow them out all at once them look like a porcupine for a few days with just one or two tail feathers poking out.
Many birds come and go for me and don't spark any interest in remembering, but she was one I will probably never forget having.

So, anyway, when I got her, I spent weeks trying to figure out what she was and if she was a male or female. Now, I don't bother so much with that kind of stuff.

I had a Gold Laced Cochin cockerel (bantam) I got from McMurray as an extra chick. That was a fun one to try to figure out too, but I had no mates for him. His name was Mr. E (like mystery) LOL. He was handsome but took us forever to figure out it was a cockerel. Now, I can sex most chicks with good accuracy in the first couple of weeks.
