Coffee!!! that is so absolutely gorgeous. And the outbuildings!!! wonderful and congratulations.

Klopklop, this is great that you are sharing your learning curve with us. I know when I do sprouts, they have to be rinsed twice daily....or they get moldy.

I have been watering them 2x or 3 if i think of it but i think not enough water has been getting out plus i think rinsing them out after the coffee can will help too. try to get rid of any natural yeast or bacteria growing on the oats

OK,,, Finally came to a agreement with the sellers contracts are signed Now to sell my house to pay for Farm.. yep I did it.. It didnt take Long to make the jump from city slicker to owning hobby farm on 5 acres.. less then 6 months..LOL... here are some pics...

THAT IS WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!! I am SO happy for you! And now you can get away from those jack*** neighbors! It is a little sad that you put so much work into that lovely coop though. How portable is it? ;)
I am happy for you! Just know, you have increased the workload quite a bit though. LOL snow removal, grass mowing alone are going to be loads of fun, but it is all so worth it to have your own space.
Where is this new residence?

WOW! WOW! WOW! I am so jealous!! Make sure that is a thick coat of poly on those floors. Otherwise, put down a few more coats. Big mistake I made with my home.

Where is it?

Which out buildings will bee a coop?

Today's #MeetAChickenMonday is our beautiful Barred Plymouth Rock, Adeline! We think Adeline is one of our most beautiful hens in the flock with her fun barred black and white pattern. Plymouth Rock hens are very winter hardy and Adeline and her two sisters are our most productive layers during these cold, short days of winter. Adeline can frequently be found hanging out in our old corn crib and having a dust bath. Now that there is snow on the ground, Adeline is usually the first and only hen out of the coop in the morning to greet the day. The snow doesn't bother her! Thanks for stopping by this week to meet Adeline!
