@Angiebubs they are Crested Cream Legbars. I really like them but they are crazy little things!! Lol they run around all day and like to fly!

They look like roadrunners LOL Legbars lay blue eggs correct? What are their personalities like?

Yep they lay blue eggs but mine are not close to laying yet.
They are a little hyper but I havent tried getting them to settle down. They are pretty much exact opposites of my Buckeyes!

The chicks are starting their 5th week....loving being out of the brooder. There is a very short fence to separate them from the hens, but so far the hens don't seem to care one bit about the chicks. They come and look sometimes, but nothing more. Since it would be a piece of cake for one to fly into the chick area (and one chick flew out of the chick pen) I go check on them constantly when they have access to the chick yard.

Happy to report that a very wet, muddy and bedraggled kitty showed up at home yesterday morning. so happy to see her.

Seaquist has a tiny chick, still no movement on the remaining 2 eggs. Wonder if just hatched chicks will be ok with the 27 degree weather predicted tonight?

Holms, my cream legbar rooster is one of the calmest roosters I've ever had! I didn't get him from Ralphie until he was about 10 months old, so maybe your legbars will calm down with age?

Glad to hear it!

One of my cats is still out sowing his oats somewhere, or so we hope. He may or may not return and we have accepted that. our 3 remaining cats are content on the farm. The one with the bum leg is healing nicely. we rinsed it the one time and trimmed back his fur and he has kept it clean. he is even walking on it again

Most breeds from about 2-3 months are batcrap crazy, I find. That is about the age I put them in a big pen that I have to walk in several times to do chores and then they start to settle down.

I am so glad your kitty came home lala. I know I worry about ours when they disappear. Last night when pulling out of the driveway I saw our little female, Mila running back across the road. That makes me unhappy. I do not want to see her getting run over. I don't think Jerome wanders that far. There is plenty of hunting to be had on our own property, so she doesn't need to go off across to another field.

Glad you found your kitty Lala!!

The momma cat here had 6 kittens that are to frickin cute! There is 2 white ones, 1 Tuxedo, 2 black with orange faces and 1 orange! And the other momma cat is prego too! So now there is 9 cats from the ones that my aunt brought and the neighbors barn cats that come over to create more little kitties. The original mom, baby and dad are gone but these are their babies.

And the free spay and neuturing at the tech was about 3 weeks ago!
