I have an EE rooster you can have :) He's 8 weeks old.

And there's nothing foolish about buying more chickens. Keep telling myself that anyways.



They're getting big! Do you have them at home or in the classroom still?

They are currently at my parents house (my mom is the teacher that led the project at the school). They said they would cover the first 2 weeks until they are on vacation this weekend. I will go pick them up on Friday.

They got the easy part! Little poops and lots of napping.

My son's class had day old chicks up until about 1 1/2 weeks old, but they didn't incubate them. I think that would have been cooler for the kids.

The kids loved watching the hatching progress. They got to see several chicks from pip to pushing free. It couldn't have gone any better
