One of my chickens is behaving normally however it has a wierd problem with the eye, one eye is completely fine but the other is sort of half closed and I was wondering why

I know you haven't posted the picture of her half closed eye, but one thing you could check is for a foreign body in her eyelid. Occasionally they can get grit or a husk in the lower eyelid. Also there can be parasites down there (according to our vet).

They way we check (and she won't like it) is to pull the lower eyelid outwards so you can see into it. Difficult to describe but we do it by gently pinching the lower eyelid between thumb and index finger and pulling it gently away from her eye. Then you can see in there.

If there is something, then try to remove it or flush it out carefully with some clean water in a small syringe or squirter.

If it is parasites, someone else will need to suggest how to treat as we have not had experience of this.

If it isn't any of those things, then see if others have any different ideas as to what it could be.

I would watch the eye for a couple of days. It looks like she has a small scab in the corner, maybe she was pecked or scratched it somehow.
It does look slightly swollen. If you feel you need to, flush with saline and apply some Vetericyn eye gel to see if that helps.

Which eye has the problem? Right looks fine to me.

It could if she was pecked or injured.
Does she have any other symptoms and has the swelling gone down at all?
