Gold Comets are good hens but they stay fairly small. Since I am using mine for both eggs and meat I like them to be larger. Most of my older birds (Other than the Dorkings) are mixed breeds right now. They are a Cochin Brahma mix or RIR Cochin mix and are fairly large. I just got 11 Austalorp chicks and then I have my pure Dorkings and Brahmas. Love them all though and they are all amazing. It's kind of fun to have the mixes cause you can get colors that you can't really get with pure birds.Well I have five roosters...
I want gold comets but they don't have them here in Greece.![]()
I don't know what any of my chickens are (breed)! Lol.
