mis-shapen egg

My Light Brahma has been laying soft shell eggs lately. She is molting and I account that for the soft shells. Today she laid an egg that was barely recognizable as an egg.... like totally flat on one side with a wrinkled formation on the front. My question is are the soft shell eggs okay to eat? I'm assuming if I add some oyster shell to her diet, maybe that would get her shells back to being hard... yes??
