And of course I love big and poofy! I need big and poofy! I have small and poofy already, so my flock is incomplete without these!!!
That's definitely a smart way to go about chicken math!

Will do! I would like to know more about breeding Brahmas. So yes send the eggs here@Antiocheggers tag me on to your thread!
I had wanted Brahma's when we first got chickens, I'd still like a hen or two, but it seems they aren't great layers. The breeder I've been getting eggs from locally has them, so far none that have been test set have developed, so I'm still here just taking one for the team by putting some in the incubator, it's such a burdenI mean, they have REALLY had to be very persuasive to get me to pop a few in my incubator...

I never heard of anyone shipping via UPS so I never checked it out. We have a UPS pickup at one of the hardware stores I could check with about it, or just go online and research shipping that way. It's sure worth a shot as USPS shipping has cost us both a lot of eggs and $$!@2ndTink and @Debbie292d I've been meaning to mention to you both, have you considered using UPS 2nd day or regular ground, to ship your eggs? When I used to order hatching eggs from Murray McMurray they always shipped UPS, the eggs arrived on time and never did the box or eggs come damaged. If you write on the top of the box, "Fragile Live Eggs" UPS is pretty good with them.
It's worth a try, UPS isn't cheap but it might work out better. The USPS is brutal on everything and they just don't care.I never heard of anyone shipping via UPS so I never checked it out.
