This was right after I clipped her feathers this morning, cleaned her wounds really good and put the ointment on her. Excuse the half done trim, walls and floors. We recently bought a fixer upper and are currently remodeling in between raising 6 kids, 9 birds, and running a business.
but she was very upset about me cleaning her up. But I gave her pain meds about 10 minutes before I started. So in this video, she’s feeling like a million bucks and goes straight to her food. At the beginning she is mad at me. Ran to another room and wouldn’t stopped quacking at me
she gets very mouthy. This isn’t her first rodeo with being in a hospital cage or having wounds treated. When she was much younger a coon or something took a giant 4 inch chunk out of the back of her neck, all the way down to the bone. Didn’t think it would heal so easily considering it needed to be stitched but it was her neck, so no skin to stretch together. Anyways, she’s so social and comfortable in our home, because she knows how loved she is.
Sorry if anyone finds me weird. I’m the crazy bird lady, and they are all spoilt rotten
