Donating hair is becoming a family tradition with my boys. I have donated twice and plan to do it again in the future. My boys are giving theirs to Locks of Love, but I donate mine every other time to Beautiful Lengths as well (they make wigs for adult women who can't afford to buy one and are suffering from a variety of hair-loss issues). A very good friend of mine has alopecia and I know how much it means to her to have decent wigs to wear and I know she feels lucky to be able to afford them. Hurray for hair donation!

Husband had Lord of the Rings hair until he got a job at a place with a dress code. I liked the long hair, but work is good.

ETA I told him about the cookies, and he said "these chicken board people are pretty outstanding."
He watched from the outside at the swap in Salem this Saturday.

Muhhahahah, muhahaha, he's being pulled into the chicken vortex!

My youngest son (13) is also growing out his hair for locks of love. Well, and also because he likes it.
