Missing Duck!

2 days ago, I noticed my female crested pekin was missing. I searched the whole area she’s kept in, no sign of her. As we were looking for her I made sure I looked for anything strange. But I couldn’t find any feathers or blood. She tends to wonder off by herself a lot, so I was wondering if maybe she escaped? I searched outside of the enclosure, no sign of her. No predator on 4 legs could’ve of gotten her inside of the fence. We have 4 large livestock dogs that guard the area 24 hours a day. So if something even tried to attack her, the dogs would’ve killed it. I’ve got my whole town looking for her. There is no body, no signs of struggle. I don’t know what happened to my sweet girl, please help. Is there any predator that could’ve done this. Like a bird of some sort?

Hard to tell, Owls, Hawks , Eagles, Fox , Raccoon could all take a body. Is she known for going broody? If she were mine I'd set a trail camera up near where she usually goes and see what comes by.

Oh no! Hopefully she's found a sneaky place to make a nest...the next time you see her she will be followed by her newly hatched ducklings!
