Missing feathers on wings...

Hello,

I am concerned about one of my laying hens. She looks like she is missing some feathers on both of her wings. It is also all red where the feathers are missing. Here is a picture:

Any ideas? Anything I can do?

Do you have roosters with the hens? If yes get the hens some chicken saddles with wing guards

There is a rooster running with the hens. Is this definetely what it is from or are there other possibilities?

It is from roosters... i had a nasty rooster i have 10 hens that are healing from that ( i culled the rooster) its been 2 months and there still healing no feather are back yet but the red is gone.

It is from the rooster, he is not being mean he is just rubbing her feathers off when he is doing what he is there to do. A chicken saddle with wing guards will protect her feathers. You can make them or buy them. Look in the sell section on here or do a search on here and you will find patterns
