Missing Feathers -- What is this??

Ok, i just went and got 4 new (1 year old) Leghorns OR SO i was told.
can you tell me what is going on with the feathers on these chickens. They all look like this
is this from pecking or is this some type of sickness and if it is a sickness will this infect my other chickens
if so how do i treat it ect.. thanks for the help in advance

Actually that one looks like a Delaware. Or maybe a leghorn cross? As for the feathers, mine look the same right now. I do believe it's the heat. You would think I mistreat them they look so scruffy right now.

Mine sit under a mister all day, and I actually thought that might be the contributor.
