Missing feathers.

Have a question, noticed the other day that our little gray hen was missing her feathers from her bottom. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Is she getting broody ??

or has another animal been pulling her feathers as my
geese do tend to defeater my chickens in the spring

not that I'm aware she isn't. The other chicken is fine.

We have had similar problems with ours. If you only have a few hens I don't think it is pecking. I would be on the lookout for mites though. This is what has happened to ours in the past. Start giving them anti-mite dustings and see if it helps. Not guaranteeing that this is the problem but has been for us before.
