Mission Control...we have LIFTOFF!!! Ooops, I mean LOCKDOWN!

I love these pictures!!!!!! It's like the little kids on the bus looking out the window as you drive by.
What color silkies are they from?
And how did all you California chicks end up on this thread together?????? I am far away from you in Ohio.

Welcome home, ggarratt. Your babies are adorable.

Baby #4 just hatched here!

It took her awhile...I first noticed her pip at 4:30 this morning and she hatched at 5 pm. We put the 4 little chicks in the brooder. (I couldn't resist any longer.) Wow, they are noisy! You'd think they would need some rest.

6 more eggs/chicks still in the incubator.

I don't see any other pips for now, but maybe they're just taking their time. I'm in no hurry if they aren't...just so they hatch.

They are drying and fluffing right up. I will try to post a picture of them.

Oh, and who's planning on vaccinating for Mareks?
I know you're technically supposed to vax at 1 day old but that's not going to happen for me- it's not that big of a deal if they are older, but considering it's a holiday on Monday & the vet is closed, my personal supply w syringes hasn't arrived yet so I'm just debating doing it at all. Anybody else?

Hello all!! I'm on the same schedule as you all for lockdown! I have 6 fuzzybutts in the bator and 10 more eggs (

) that I'm waiting to hatch. 7 have pipped and the other 3 seem to be in the slow side. Now, I should be sure to mention that these eggs aren't due till tomorrow, so the last 10 aren't late yet. Now I'm just trying to decide if I should take the 6 VERY active chicks out of the bator now or just wait till tomorrow? I cant get the humidity below 90% now and I had been keeping it at 65% before they all started hatching... is that going to be a problem??? LOL!! Sorry for all the questions but this is my first hatch also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
