For staggered hatching, you really need two incubators. a starter incubator and a lockdown incubator. Look at my staggered hatch thread in my signature for some info.

You could probably build another incubator for lock down or get a cheapo 7 egg one.

I might not have time to do that. Just got a text that some of the chicken eggs are due to hatch any day now.

Some of the bantam eggs. 6/6 are developing. All the other eggs are currently clear.

I'm not taking pics of everything just yet.

The $ store has to little plastic baskets that fit well inside styrofoam incubators if that's what you're using. You can put the baby eggs in one of them to hatch and keep them from bowling your other eggs around. If you can find a lingere bag or small laundry bag that just for around the basket, that will work even better to keep the babies contained.

I have a four day weekend after tomorrow. I have to go shopping for a present on Friday so Ill go out and get the stuff then if I can.
