The owner of the farm that @Cyprus used to work at did not take great care of some of his animals, feeding the chickens only corn, not treating mites, etc...
However, she has stopped working there, spoke to him about the feed (and the other stuff?). She can probably give you better details than I
 
In very short detail:
He did not feed complete or correct diets to his poultry. I.E corn to the turkeys and ducks, occasionally sheep feed to the chickens
He did not treat obvious disease in his flocks.
A lot of his livestock was kept in questionable condition and I personally do/did not agree with most of his practices.
