I went last year but this year I can't go, we'll be in Orlando with our grandkids from Maryland. It's really a nice show and great people. I'll be there next year.

Fenton here! I live in a subdivision and have about 10 banties. I keep a roo in the garage. I keep true araucana bantams. Anyone out there breed araucana bantams? Don

Do you have any black bantam Araucana hens? I have a project line started right now for chocolate large fowl Araucana's using a split for chocolate cockerel that is out of a Chocolate Orpington bantam rooster over a black Araucana hen who is also bantam. He's pea combed and larger than the average bantam but a great start here. I'm south of you, about 45 min west of Lebanon. I think I have seen your posts in the Araucana thread but didn't realize you were so close, well sort of close. PM me

Hello everyone from the Missouri thread,

I just moved here to Missouri, from Florida this last month. There was an awesome facebook group (with over 500 members joined in 6 months) for Florida chicken owners called Chicken Swap of Florida that allowed people to converse, share information, pictures, and swap all year round in the area.

This group allowed me to post information, find the breeds I wanted locally, and find good homes for the extra chicks I hatched or purchased.

I have (with help from the administrator of the Florida group) started a Chicken Swap of Missouri facebook group (link below). I am hoping to form a group as wonderful as the Florida group, with chicken people from this area able to find information quickly, and swap all year round with other members.

Please pass the word on and join up, I can't wait to meet you all!
