NEW TO THE FORUM AND CHICKENS, AND COMPLETELY ADDICTED!!!!! - IF I COULD JUST FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET MY PICTURES ON HERE, I HAVE BEEN TRYING AND TRYING. NOT THAT I HAVE MANY TO POST - YEAH RIGHT:lol: I THINK I HAVE MORE OF MY "BABIES" THAN I DO OF MY FAMILY.

WOW! OzarkHen: I was just reading your page - 82 acres! How wonderful! I can't wait to get my bit of property (near hubby's family around Potosi/Blackwell hopefully next year)!
 
Hi Jackie, I have tons of pics I took during the ice storm and it was absolutely gorgeous. I love all the seasons here. you can't see the house from the road and we love our privacy. Where is your DH's family at? I am not familiar with Potosi, is that in the bootheel?
I forgot to add this property has been in my DH's family since the early 1920's. We plan on keeping it a "family" thing.

what kind of pullet laid her first egg? You have me excited now for my first ones from my going on thirteen week old pullets. Man, I think I would have taken a picture of it.
