Mite problem. Treated with Elector PSP

Sprayed a heavy amount of Elector PSP on all the chickens vents under wings and on back yesterday. Mixed 9ml to a gallon if water.. Also cleaned the stripped the whole coop and sprayed everything. Checked tonight and still have live mites on the chickens Is it too soon to see results or did it not work?
We live in pa if that makes any difference

Just a question were you able to get the spray on their skin or just their feathers?

Yes I got it down onto the skin. Spread feathers and made sure of that!

Did you shake the bottle well before measuring the dose? Hopefully, it will start working.

Yes shaked it really well as well as once mixed and kept agitating it during treatment

Spinosad has some contact kill but most of its activity is through gi contact - so taking a nibble is what really knocks them back. On fruit trees its activity is rated against chewing insects for that reason.
