MItes......and gone

So I just had to share.....


I have two broodies that have been on a shared nest about two weeks now. Day before yesterday I went out to close up and saw mites covering my poor Rebal Dottie's face (buff rock)!

I knew what to do thanks to BYC. So yesterday I went out and dusted both of the hens with Sevin, not a plestent experence for my ladies. Well tonight I went out late just to check and........not one mite

. I am so happy that it worked and proud that I saved my girls from those terrible bugs, that I had to share it on BYC!

So I say for the billionth time THANK YOU BYC!

Wow you had results that fast! I had to dust mine today. Your right, not fun, but hopefully mine will be clear tomorrow too.

I was surprised too! I expected at least a few mites today, but nothing, not one mite on either bird.

I did dust the nest and the surrounding area very well too, which I know helped. Good luck, hopefully your birds are clear as well!
