I dusted my chickens yesterday for mites and lice. Is there such a thing as too much dust? I mean obviously I don't want to dump the poor girls in powder. Realistically... a tablespoon full or two. To cover there feather loss areas. The directions did not give an amount. Just 1 lb to 100 chickens. I used 1.5 pounds per 20 chickens. Mind that the ground was covered and some went in the air.

Too much can cause respiratory problems for the birds and for you as well if you're not wearing a mask.
