I dusted my chickens yesterday for mites and lice. Is there such a thing as too much dust? I mean obviously I don't want to dump the poor girls in powder. Realistically... a tablespoon full or two. To cover there feather loss areas. The directions did not give an amount. Just 1 lb to 100 chickens. I used 1.5 pounds per 20 chickens. Mind that the ground was covered and some went in the air.
