I had some hens that had their shoulders and wings plucked down to the skin and thought it was the other hens but after doing some research I now believe they were over-preening due to mites. I butchered the ones I thought had been picked on. Is their meat ok to use or should I just throw it out?
Thanks.

The meat is fine unless you used some type of medication to cure the mite/lice problem; which I would assume you haven't. Even then, after a allotted time odds are it'd still be fine to eat.

God bless,
Daniel.
