If the bugs you're seeing are more yellow/pale in color, you're more than likely dealing with lice, rather than mites as they tend to be a darkish-brown. Fortunately, lice are not as hard on the birds, and In my experience are easier to eradicate then mites. As mentioned, a Permethrin based product works best and is easily accessible at most feed stores. You'll want to clean all the bedding out of the coop, and spray down the walls, nesting boxes, cracks, roosts, etc. Ectoparasites tend to focus around the vent, neck, and wings, so when dusting/ or spraying focuse in those areas.
