I don't mind at all. I did use it but none of my flock was laying at the time, so I didn't consider the egg issue. With my goose, I got the top of the feathers but also ruffled them up a little to be thorough. It does say to to make sure to get the area near the vent really well. I just went and read the package. The only thing it mentions as far as the eggs is not to apply the powder directly to the eggs or nesting litter. I would probably not eat the eggs for a few days just to be extra safe.
