Mites on Face - Getting worse!

Hi, I have this as well on one of my Orpingtons and have had difficulty identifying it. Apparently it could be Scaly Face Mite and my vet informs me that it is treatable with Ivermectin (I got some from Wells Poultry, called Harkers). I have been advised to use 4 drops per bird and to treat all birds that come into contact with the affected bird. Ivermectin also treats Scaly Leg Mite and Red Mite. Hope this helps and your chicken is soon well again. Lesley
