HELP!!!! I have never had mites before and I am freaking out a bit!!!

Yesterday, I did a deep clean and sprayed birds (by their vent and on their neck) and coop with Elector PSP (as directed on bottle). Today, I went into the coop and I found mites on myself and on my feeders! Does this mean the treatment did not work or does it take a few days for them all to die off.

I am not familiar with that product. I used Gordon's Permethrin 10 purchased at Tractor Supply for under $20. It was a one and done treatment for both the chicken and the coop. I focused primarily on treating the coop while they were out free ranging for the day and about 1/2 the uncooperative chicken then gave up on individual treatments.

Regardless, it worked and here I am 3-4 months later still sitting on a lifetime supply of the stuff. Neither the chicken nor I are being bothered by those mites any longer.

I use this as well, and have had great success using it. A lot easier, In my opinion, to apply than the powder's, and last's way longer.

I read about the Elector PSP and decided it sounded good. I haven't had mites yet, so haven't tried it yet. If it turns out it doesn't work, well, they sure wrote good ads. Hope it works.
I forget if it was supposed to be a one time treatment?
