OK, I agree with you about the ivermectin. I have 20 pounds of food grade diatomaceous earth. I’m gonna purchase a puffer and give that a try. I would so much more rather do that than trying to spray the ceiling and all that stuff raining down on. I’ll let you know how it goes. Plus the sprayer depressurize is so fast and I have to constantly pump it up. Thank you so much.
You need permethrine based powder, not D.E.
If you can get permethrin dust (the same stuff you'd treat chickens with), that would be even better. I know a lot of people like diatomaceous earth, but I'm personally not a fan. The same mechanism that kills bugs is also hard on your chickens' lung tissue.

I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I heard about the elector PSP and that it’s really effective. OK, I’ll start treating them every seven days. I know the solution for inside the coop is much different than for spraying the kids. I can’t dip the ducks because they’re so buoyant so I have to hold them in my lap and spray them and then for my goose I just pin her down and try to get the nozzle in up against her skin, which is challenging because of that thick down. Later today, I’ll get a picture of one of my roosters and post it here. Yes and the blue coat works fantastic for pecking and small wounds. I was afraid to pressure wash my coop as I didn’t want mold form, but I guess in this summertime it’s the best time to do it. Thank you for the tip about the straw. I generally use pine shavings and very fine sawdust, but I’m keeping bedding to a bare minimum just barely coating the floor because I have to scrape it out every week to spray.
The powder was not available in our tractor supply store. My vet said shake and bake the chickens in a bag. I’m sure that would be less stressful than spraying them.You read my mind!
