MITES!!

How do you get Mites off of Baby Chicks? A friend of mine says there are Mites on a chick that just hatched 2 - 3 days ago. I just need to know what to tell him. Any help would be appreciated!

wow..is the baby with a broody? ive never had to deal with that , i would think a smaller dose of poultry dust..maybe somone who has been through this would stop by..there is another thread you can post this in called emergencies and diseases..somone in there might be able to help out..

I had a hen hatch some chicks that ended up with mites, I dusted the hen, and as the chicks slept down under her they in turn were dusted that way... all was well.
