This morning I put on 23 guinea eggs to incubate. I will probably get six speckled Sussex eggs today. Can I add them to this batch, or will that create a problem with lockdown?

If I'm remembering correctly, guineas take about 28 days to hatch. If you hold your chicken eggs for around a week, they'll hatch around the same time (I did the same thing with my turkey eggs before I got a second incubator). If you put the chicken eggs in tomorrow, they'll hatch first and the higher humidity might be a problem for the guineas.

Yes, 26 or 28 days for guineas. That's a great idea on the timing. Duh. Seeeeee - that's what's so great about this forum. You get the experience of a bunch of mentors! THANKS!

Ok, but I read lockdown on chickens is day 18. Supposed to stop turning 3 days in front of that. How do I deal with that if I have an auto turner? That means guinea eggs should turn another 5 days?

Ok, I guess that makes sense. BOTH are 3 days for lockdown. And the week delay puts that at the same date. I didn't connect the dots. Thank you!!
