I brought my five chicks from a bird lover with lots of hens. She wasn't sure what breed each chick was, but gave me a list. What breed and sex are my girls(boys?)?

Dad: Americana
Moms:polish Mix
Dominique
Australorp
Rhode Island Red
Plymouth Rock
Barneverlder
Wyandotto

1) I think Rhode Island Red. ( both pics same chick)

2) A hen not sure on breed

3) (white and brown)I think she is a he

I'll add more photos of the other black two....

Thank you for anything help you can give.

Number one is a RIR and a girl. Number two are Black Sex Links and most definitely girls. I can't seem to figure out what number three is.

I'm pretty sure that it's a cockerel though. Good luck figuring out number three!

I thought #3 was an Easter Egger. He is so friendly for a dude.

Here's the other two:

#4 I believe this is a he, but I am unsure because of breed.

#6 she has a black comb

The "Americana' rooster that fathered them is likely an Easter Egger.
#1 is a cockerel.
#2 is a pullet.
#3 is a cockerel.

First bird probably had the RIR mother, but it's not a RIR it'self. if both parents aren't the same breed, the offspring is mixed breed. Plus, it had a pea comb and different body shape than an RIR. It's a cockerel.

Number 2 is a pullet, momma could be the Aussie, the barred Rock, that's going on her having a straight comb.

number 3 is a cockerel. from his comb and color I have no idea who his momma was. maybe the Wyandotte? That comb is kind of a funky mixed comb, hard to say.

number 4 looks like a cockerel from the Aussie momma

number 5 is a hen. like number 2, probably the Aussie or the Rock for a momma.

1. Buckeye--an RIR would have a single comb, however, a Buckeye shouldn't have black neck markings. Could be some sort of mix.
2 & 3. EE
4. Looks like a mixed breed
