Mixed Breed Ducks!

I know this is an old forum but we should try to continue it since it’s a wonderful one. I will soon be crossing Péki/KC f1s with Cayuga and khakis with Cayugas and the f1s with my KC hen.

I agree I have silver appleyard x Rouen crosses and silver appleyard x Rouen x Peking crosses (I had 1 crested khaki cambell breed in 6 generations ago and still get the crest!) I am no longer allowing any of the crested one to breed in the future.

Nice birds! The crest is hard to get out isn’t it... Like the beards and muffs in my Blue/Green Chicken Egger project.

This is the first time I will actually try to get it out. I’m going to sell all My crested ducklings and keep the most beautiful non crested for next breeding season. We will see
