These aren't all of my mixed breed birds but they are some of my favorites. All of them are about six months old. And I'll share a pic of their dad while I'm at it, his name is Elvis

If I had found this thread several months ago I could of sent in tons of photos! But I sold all my cross breeds. :barnie
I now who the parents are and can explain some, father: blue splash maren, mother: believe it is a barred Plymouth rock, the cross looked like a barred Plymouth rock, but instead of black and white, two different shades of blue.

Weird. Usually that cros makes an RSL.

No a RIR rooster over White Leghorn will not give a Red Sex Link, never.

A White Leghorn is dominant white. It is not based on silver. Silver is what you need in a red sex link cross.

Do ant white cannot completely cover red hence the red spots on the white background.

I'm thinking about trying to hatch some Red Sex Link's.

So.. It took a longtime to go through the entire thread, but I couldn't find any Buff Orph Roo X SLW pics. I know they will be Red Sex Link but would love to see pics before I actually hatch some eggs. Does anyone happen to have this cross? The only thing I've read about them is that sometimes it's hard to tell at hatch male from female, because of the light gold... Is this accurate? And does anyone have pics of this cross?
