Mixed duck?

So I finally got hold of my female Donald. Then I realized she had something on her bill.

I got her from TSC and she is a Pekin I decided as her mate I got at the same time is a good quality Pekin, but I wonder if she has a mixed breed in her.

Spots happen on Duck bills. Not at all uncommon. Spots do not mean they are mixed.

X2 happens all the time in female ducks, even my purebred Calls sometimes.

Hmmmm... I dont know. My male doesn’t have freckles.

I have a runner drake with freckles. They’re kinda green.

It’s really good to hear that ‘freckles’ are normal. Our Pekin hen has the same thing and I was really starting to get worried she might have something going on.

Incorrect. It’s not exclusive to only the hens.
