Mixed flock

So we are new duck owners... we hatched out a lot of eggs for my BIL . We kept 6 pekin, 1 (and only) Rouen female and 1 Toulouse Gosling. They are a wonderful and unusual flock. Our Toulouse is the most friendly of them all and loves cuddles. The Rouen, all though the favorite from the beginning, seems to be the most shy. I am loving ducks so far. We had geese before and with a mate they get quite aggressive. I am hoping this boy will stay a flock protector as we do let them range free when we are outside.

Beautiful group! I guess I got lucky. My gander may be a little less touchy feely with me since he got his mate, but has NEVER been aggressive. And seeing their bond, I would never do it any other way. They still babysit the flock and break up fights.
