The middle Silver looks like a girl in all the pics! I'm not really sure on the other 2, the other silver looks like it might be a boy, it kinda looks heftier than the others.

they're so pretty, i can't wait to see when mine hatch!

Terrie asked for some updated pics of the "girls" so here they are:

We're really hoping they are girls! All three seem to be the same size and have the same legs, etc. So, they are probably all the same gender.

I told Terrie that they do the cutest head bobbing / trilling when we talk to them... I just gotta get it on video.

I would say all girls. The blue/brown one looks like a mix and I see the very beginnings of caruncles at the corner of their lips...errr bills.

Okay, I just watched the video - wow! I love those cute little noises they make! Do all duckies make that noise? Man...I just KNOW I'm gonna have a few some day....

I was going to ask the same question about their sounds--is that what a muscovy sounds like? I heard they were one of the quiet breeds--but that is just adorable!

I'm not a duck expert, so I'll let others answer the general questions.

These ducks are actually VERY quiet... generally even more quiet than our chickens. The only time they make these noises (which themselves are more quiet than other breeds of ducks) are when I go out and get them really excited. Even this is sometimes hard to do. I've gone out there on 5 other occasions to get a video of them making the sound, but they stayed mute. For whatever reason, this was a good day!
