I have a bantam hen, unfortunately that is all that left due to a bobcat, I want to get more hens and i was wondering if i could get larger hens that will get along with my hen. thanks.

Unless you are able to get the her a bantam friend, I'd separate her from the big birds. They will pick on her because she is smaller

if you get friendly breeds like Orpington or Cochin or Australorp it could help

What breed of bantam do you have? The breed will play a big role in if you should get some bantams and large fowl or if you can get away with just adding large fowl.

Bantams can be mixed with larger breeds but you will usually need more than just one bantam. 2-3 bantams in a flock of large breeds will do alright. If you introduce the bantam to the new birds as chicks then they might get along with each other as adults.

Here is a photo of her. Not sure her breed. I am very new to raising chickens.

They are just oegb's, I have a trio of them plusplus chicks being raised by mom. I don't allow them to mingle with the other bantams just cause I dontd want to risk anything. However, I do have a silkie chick being raised with the chicks in my egg layer starter flock and they all get along well...

i think i will get a couple young bantams hens, and 2 larger but younger then the bantams to see how it goes. my bantam hen i have now will be happy to have other chickens around her, i have been told chickens for the most part are very social.
