Mixing chicks

I have 11 chicks in my brooder that are 3 weeks old, I am hatching as we speak, will it be ok to mix these new chicks with the old chicks or should I get a separate brooder??

Some people say you can keep them together within three weeks of each other, but I prefer 2 weeks. The big guys will likely trample the little guys. The size difference is pretty significant.

I would keep them together!

I would monitor, and make sure that if you are mixing chicks of different ages to have a spot where the older chicks can keep cool.
