Mixing duck breeds..

So after today's dramatic events I need to find some friends for my lone Muscovy. I'm putting up a post on local site but may have to hatch my own from eggs (1st time for everything). Considering that will take 5-6 weeks was wondering if I picked up other breeds in the mean time will they socialize and help keep our duck from being lonely?

Went ahead and ordered 8+ Muscovy eggs now going to find a incubator
