We just received a variety of heritage turkeys today. The store also has some week old broad breasted bronze that they would like to sell to us. Can we mix the two groups together when they are a week older and will grow faster than the younger ones?
Thanks for the help. This web site has been a tremendous source for information.

I just put day old poults with week old poults, and they got along great! Just keep an eye on them for awhile, and see how they are getting along. All mine were heritage palms and some were crossed with red pencilled palms. I don't see why the bigger breed turkey wouldn't get along with the heritage birds. If they reach breeding age... you may have a fight on your hands with the toms.
