mixing quail and chicken rails in GQF 1610 turner

I seem to be having a problem when I mix the chicken rails and the quail rails on the 1610 turner. Often the arm that goes to the turner motor slips off the motor arm and drops. I usually only use 3 of the rails. I check the incubator and find the eggs dumped onto the wire floor.

Anybody ever have this problem? I am trying a different configuration to see if that helps. Will take any suggestions.
