Sapphire Gem or Jersey Giant or something else?

Recently adopted this chick thinking it was a sapphire gem pullet, but it's quite a bit larger than our buff orp. and silver laced of the same age, and has some colors I know can happen with a hybrid breed, but the size and colors are making me think we maybe instead got a mislabeled Jersey Giant. I'd like some jumbo eggs so it'd be a fun oopsie but let me know what you think:

x2 . . . I'm thinking cockerel, but that would depend on the age.

ETA: Pretty sure it's a cockerel . . . upon closer inspection I see red leakage on the wings. I'm new though, so wait for others to weigh in.

10 weeks old right now give or take a couple days. The only chicks they had at the feed store at that time were pullets, both the sapphire gems and the jersey giants and all the rest of the breeds they had, but I know at the hatchery mistakes can be made when vent sexing or looking for the dot on the sapphire gems.

I am also leaning cockerel. Time will tell. I know that doesn’t help with breed

It may still be a sapphire gem, if it's a cockerel that could account for the size difference. I don't have either sapphire gems or Jersey Giants (I have blue jersey giant in the brooder) so I can't say for sure.

I'm unsure on the breed but it is a cockerel.

Without a doubt a cockerel. That comb is massive and the red on the wings is male specific. As for breed, I'm not positive, but he is not a Gem or a Giant.
