I have a few baby hens. 4 of them are 5 weeks old and they are together with some 2 week olds that I put in with them. ( and this has worked out well for the last 2 weeks) A friend has 2 three week old chicks he wants to give me. What are the odds that I can toss them in the same pen with the existing babies?

Last summer we added some day-old chicks with 4-week old chicks and they integrated just fine! I think since they are babies they don't really care.;)

You can try putting together in the brooder but keep a close eye on them the first couple of days, to make sure there's no bullying or other issues. Do have a plan to separate them, either with a divider or with a second brooder, if it becomes necessary.

Thanks. I am going to try this tomorrow. I have a place to put them if I have to separate them.
